I stayed in the area and decided to grab dinner and a beer. The place wasn't too busy, so we got seated quickly. I ordered voodoo pasta and a kc Dunkel. The pasta was tender, and the shrimp and chicken were ok. I was expecting some heat, but it was pretty mild for spiciness. Really was more of a chicken Alfredo than a spicy pasta. Beer was cold, and the waiter was friendly.

My family and I have been to Tiff n jays a few times over the years and for most part always enjoyed it. So I am going to stick with our most recent visit. My son ordered the chicken Alfredo kids meal and really liked it. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich which was delicious except one part had a piece of gristle that was unchewable. The waffle fries left a lot to be desired but to Me that's ok as they have several other great sides for next time. My boyfriend did the house salad with Salmon. However I wish they had a better description on what comes on the salads because it came with diced tomatoes and he had to try and pick them out. The salmon was a good sized piece though and cooked well so that helped. It will stay in our rotation. The game nights sound fun if you can go.

Great food, good service and the menu is huge. Pastas, pizzas, sandwiches & more. Something for everyone. Ambiance is nice, it's a large place and can be loud. But, not in a bad way. You could bring a crying baby and it wouldn't be a huge deal. Never been a wait for seating any time we go either.

This is a hidden gem in Lee's Summit! From the outside it looks like a neighborhood bar, and is a bar atmosphere inside, but the patio is so nice! It's covered, seats are padded, fans are making a breeze and it overlooks a small lake. Kanesha has been our waitress a couple times, so friendly and efficient! Our favorite dish is the pork chops, the side salad is fresh and if you like fried mushrooms they are very good. If you are around here, give them a try!

The Comfortable and Casual Grill Without a Help Wanted Sign I still cannot believe that we had missed this place over the past few years. Located on NE Woods Chapel Road, a couple of blocks west of I-470, we have been within a quarter mile of it at least a couple hundred times. Their private parking lot is well lit, large and easily accessable from Woods Chapel Rd. The handicap parking is near the front entrance. And we noticed that contrary to other restaurants in the area, it did not have a "help wanted" sign out front (a sign of the "post COVID-19 reopening" times)! Upon entering we were again amazed at the size and layout of the place. Advertised as a "sports bar and grill" the sheer number of large projection and flat screen televisions was amazing! One could easily bring the whole neighborhood to watch the game (which ever ones were playing) and not worry about your view being blocked. The bar itself is big too, with seating at two counters and a very large "standing area" in between. Should the weather permit, there is also an inviting deck overlooking a wooded lot. The full bar serves an amazing number of both common beers and craft beers, along with signature cocktails and shots. Their extensive menu is typical "sports bar and grill" that includes burgers, tacos, and the like. But it also contains sirloin steaks, chicken fried steak, shrimp po'boys, and more. Portions are ample too. So if you leave hungry (or without a to-go box) it is not because there was nothing you liked or there was not enough on your plate! Our server was that great combination of personable, knowledgeable, and professional (yep, I heavy tipped as it was well earned). My wife's Shrimp Po'Boy was loaded up with large breaded Jumbo Shrimp and equally large tomatoes. Needless to say she cleaned her plate. Opting for the Roast Beef Melt, I was presented a extremely thick portion of tender thin sliced medium well roast beef with a generous amount of melted cheese. The roast beef was juicy, and full of great flavor (a nice surprise as medium well beef can be dry or tough). On the side the tater tots were wonderful. One of the managers stopped by twice to double check on us, so I brought up the lack of a "help wanted" sign. She said that they were very fortunate in that most all of their staff returned immediately after the lockdowns, and they were considered family - likely the main reason for their return. Our bill came to around $27.00 including tax, which is well within the expected market price. This being early on a Tuesday night, we did provide Tiff N Jays an opportunity to show off without a overwhelming crowd. As we got up to leave we could see the place filling up. As we left we decided to bump some of underperforming restaurants on our go-to list in their favor. And yes, I did have to ask for a to-go box at the end.
